HEALTH CARE FOR ALL WITH TWO STROKES OF THE PEN

Look this is so simple itwill make you cry to know it will never happen till we flush the great crapper in DC.  Simply by changing Medicare Part D to a program demonstrated by the VA to cut drug cost dramatically and by going to single payor and eliminating insurance companies you can pay for healthcare for all.

The numbers are out there:  you save 400 billion a year reforming Medicare Part D and at least that amount getting rid of the insurance companies.  Some estimates go to over a Trillion dollar in savings.

Every other industrial nation has universal coverage of some kind, some are totally free , some have citizen contributions (Canada) and all are damned happy with their coverage.  The burden is off their industries to carry health care costs making them more competitive.

WAIT , STOP, I’m falling into their trap , none of the arguments for or against are valid.  Just reform Medicare D and go to single payer and the problem is solved.

No arguments on who is between your doctor and you. I can tell you the government is a far easier opponent than an insurance co.   Wake up , demand single payor and let’s move on to more complicated things.

I did 4 years in the navy and have a 10 percent disability rating. That qualifies me for full care from the VA, and I can honestly say that its the best health care I’ve had by far. Their electronic record keeping system is second to none.
